Fitch, Walter, 1854-1937.

Walter Fitch Sr. (1854-1937) was born in London and came to the U.S. in 1874. He worked in the copper mining industry in Michigan starting in 1881 and then organized the Chief Consolidated Mining Company (CCMC) in 1909 with investors from Michigan.
